Thanks to the investigation of CBS, 60 Seconds revealed the horrific facts of how disgusting improper e-waste can be. To check out the video documentary please click here. If you would like to view the electronic recyclers that qualify under the Electronic Recycler's Pledge of True Stewardship Click here . Recycling Batteries with the RBRC - 01/12/06 When thrown into landfills, cellular batteries have the potential to leak known carcinogens like nickel, lead, and cadmium into the soil, ground, and surface water. In order to help protect the environment, Full Circle Wireless has been working for some time with the Rechargeable Battery Recycling Corporation. The RBRC helps keep batteries out of the solid waste stream and prevents toxins from ending up in landfills or municipal incinerators. This program sends all batteries to a cadmium recovery facility where the nickel and iron are separated to be used to produce new batteries. * For older items of interest, contact a Full Circle Wireless representative.

During hard economic times it is not easy to find individuals that have extra income to donate to any organization. However, during hard economic times, the need for donations is at its highest. Full Circle Wireless recently partnered with the American Red Cross of Orange County to offer potential donors another way to give to the needy while avoiding their wallets. Everyone has at least one old cell phone stored away in a "junk drawer," now people can turn that old phone into a valuable donation that can help save lives and make a real difference.
